Play Pokemon Thunder Yellow French Online

Pokemon Thunder Yellow French is basically a GBA romhack of FireRed/LeafGreen with some tweaks. The early game feels familiar if you've played the originals, but there are enough small changes to keep it interesting. You still start in Pallet Town, but some of the wild Pokemon encounters are different, and the rival battles hit a little harder.

I remember grinding my Pikachu against wild Rattatas for way too long before the first gym. The level curve feels steeper than the official games, which can be frustrating if you're not prepared. The French translation is decent, though some moves still show up in English.

It's not a complete overhaul, but if you want a slightly tougher version of Kanto with some surprises, Pokemon Thunder Yellow French does the job.
