Play Pools Of Darkness Online
You customize a full party of six adventurers—down to their goofy names—then crawl through brutal dungeons where NPCs steal your loot and weak parties get crushed. Import your Silver Blades crew if you're still proud of those reckless survivors.

Pools of Darkness came out in 1991 from Strategic Simulations, Inc., a solid MS-DOS title that followed the earlier Gold Box games. It fit right into that era of deep, demanding RPGs that required patience and a lot of disk swapping, offering a substantial challenge for players who had already cut their teeth on its predecessors.
You control a party of up to six characters, either imported from the previous game or newly created, guiding them through a world being consumed by dark pools. The main goal is to find and destroy these pools, which involves exploring cities and wilderness areas screen by screen, fighting tactical turn-based battles, and delving into massive, multi-level dungeons. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty is high, often punishing careless decisions or under-leveled parties. It feels like a long, grueling campaign where every piece of gold and every experience point is hard won.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
