Play Power Athlete (Japan) Online
Pick a martial artist—some normal, some wild—and throw ridiculous super moves at each other in this janky but lovable SNES fighter. The ninja’s teleport is busted, but good luck pulling it off before the AI stomps you.

Game Overview
Power Athlete (or Power Moves, depending on where you played it) is one of those early SNES fighters that feels a little rough around the edges but has its own weird charm. You pick from eight martial artists—some standard, some totally bizarre—and fight through a tournament where everyone’s got a ridiculous super move. The controls are stiff compared to something like Street Fighter, but there’s something fun about landing a spinning piledriver or watching your character suddenly turn into a fireball.
Matches are fast, sometimes too fast—a few lucky hits can end a round in seconds. The AI cheats like crazy on higher difficulties, but the sprite work and over-the-top animations make up for it. I always went for the ninja guy because his teleport was broken, but good luck figuring that out at first. It’s not a deep fighter, but it’s a fun time if you’re into janky 90s brawlers.
