Game Overview

Power Drift on the Amiga is one of those arcade racers that feels like it’s actively trying to throw you off the track—in the best way possible. The tracks tilt and twist like roller coasters, and your little car slides around like it’s on ice half the time. It’s chaotic, but in that addictive "one more try" kind of way.

The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, with bright colors and this weirdly satisfying sense of speed as the scenery whips past. Just don’t expect realism—this is pure arcade nonsense where drifting around corners at full speed is somehow the right move. The music’s got that classic Amiga chiptune energy too, all bouncy and slightly too loud.

It’s the kind of game where you’ll crash spectacularly at least five times before getting the hang of it, but when you finally nail a clean lap, it feels like a tiny victory. Definitely a relic of its time, but in a good way.
