Okay, so Prehistoric Isle 2 is this old-school Neo Geo shooter where you're basically a dude in a biplane blasting dinosaurs and cavemen. No fancy cutscenes or deep lore here—just you, a machine gun, and a whole lot of prehistoric chaos. The first level throws you right into it with pterodactyls dive-bombing you while you skim over jungles and waterfalls.

What’s cool is how chunky everything feels—the explosions, the way enemies ragdoll when they die, even the little details like your plane’s shadow skimming across the water. You can grab power-ups that turn your pea-shooter into a ridiculous spread shot or flamethrower, which is great because some of the bigger dinos take a stupid amount of bullets to bring down. And yeah, it’s hard. Like, "throw-your-controller" hard in places, especially when the screen fills up with raptors and lava pits.

If you’ve ever played Metal Slug, it’s got that same chaotic energy, just with more T-Rexes. The co-op mode is where it really shines—nothing beats teaming up with a friend to mow down a stampede of triceratops. Just don’t expect to beat it on your first try.
