Game Overview

Isle of the Dead is one of those weird, janky MS-DOS gems where you wake up stranded on a creepy island after your plane crashes—and surprise, it’s crawling with zombies. Not the slow, shambling kind either. These things are aggressive, and they’re being controlled by some deranged scientist hiding out in the jungle.

You start off scavenging the wreckage for whatever you can find (a machete, thank god), then start hacking through dense foliage like some desperate survival horror version of Robinson Crusoe. The mix of first-person shooting and point-and-click adventure feels clunky at first, but there’s something weirdly immersive about it once you get used to the controls. Just don’t expect smooth sailing—this island wants you dead.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
