Game Overview

Dead Dance (or Tuff E Nuff, depending on where you got it) is one of those weird, rough-around-the-edges SNES fighters that somehow sticks with you. It's set in this grimy post-apocalyptic world where the last survivors settle things with their fists—no fancy energy beams, just brutal, slightly janky brawling.

You pick from a crew of fighters like a cyborg, a mutant, and this dude who looks like he crawled out of a Mad Max reject pile. The moves feel heavy, like your characters are actually tired from living in a wasteland. I kept going back to the samurai guy—his sword slashes have this satisfying thunk, even if the hit detection isn’t always perfect.

It’s not Street Fighter, but there’s something oddly charming about how raw it feels. The music’s all industrial clanging, and the stages look like someone spilled rust over everything. Definitely a niche pick for when you want something mean and unpolished.
