Game Overview

Sea Monsters throws you straight into this weirdly cool underwater world where you're basically swimming with dinosaurs. The first thing that hits you is how eerie and massive everything feels—like you're some tiny fish dodging these ancient sea beasts that could swallow you whole. The controls take a second to get used to (why does the DS make everything a little awkward?), but once you figure it out, there's something satisfying about darting between coral reefs and snapping up smaller creatures.

Combat's simple but fun—you charge up attacks and try not to get cornered by things with way too many teeth. The pixel art actually does a great job making the ocean feel alive, even if some of the deeper areas get kinda samey after a while. It's not perfect, but if you ever wanted to pretend you're a mosasaur terrorizing the Cretaceous seas, this is probably your best shot on the DS.
