Play Prehistorik Online

You play a sluggish caveman whacking dinos for food—controls feel weird at first, but soon you're smacking rabbits and finding meat stashes behind walls. Boss fights are simple, but that victory dance after clearing a level never gets old.

Game Overview

Prehistorik came out in 1991 for MS-DOS, developed and published by Titus Interactive. It was one of those side-scrolling platformers that felt right at home in the era, not trying to push too many boundaries but offering a solid, straightforward experience. You controlled a caveman on a mission, and the goal was simple: gather enough food to survive each level.

You move from left to right, screen by screen, using a big club to bonk dinosaurs, rabbits, and other creatures for meat. The main objective is to collect a set amount of food before time runs out, and you often have to break open walls or pots to find hidden stashes. The pacing is deliberate, not too fast, and the difficulty comes from timing your attacks and avoiding enemies that can quickly drain your health. It feels satisfying to methodically clear each area, hearing the thud of your club and watching your food tally climb.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
