Game Overview
Prehistorik 2 is this goofy little DOS platformer where you play as a caveman smacking dinosaurs and weird creatures with a club. The controls are dead simple—just arrows and spacebar—but there’s something oddly satisfying about bonking enemies and watching them ragdoll away. Half the fun is smashing random spots in the level to uncover hidden food (because, of course, a caveman’s gotta eat).
They added these weird little details, like your guy panting if you sprint too long, or the totally random items you collect (why is there a VHS tape in the Stone Age?). The first game made you hoard food to progress, but here you just need to find a lighter—which makes zero sense, but hey, it’s charming. There are secret dev team photos tucked away too, like an inside joke you stumble into. It’s janky, silly, and way more fun than it has any right to be.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
