Prehistorik 2 came out in 1993 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games lineup, developed by Titus France. It was a side-scrolling platformer from an era when colorful, cartoonish adventures were common, but it stood out with its own goofy charm and a focus on hunting and gathering rather than just jumping on enemies.

You control a caveman armed with a club, moving through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to gather food, from fruits and vegetables to whole cooked chickens, while fending off or avoiding dinosaurs and other creatures. Signature mechanics include breaking open walls and objects to reveal hidden items, and a hunger meter that steadily depletes, pushing you to keep collecting. The pacing is brisk, with some tricky platforming and enemy patterns that demand quick reactions. It feels chaotic and silly in the best way, like a prehistoric grocery run gone wildly out of control.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
