So you thought the Prince had it made after the first game, right? Wrong. Just as he’s about to marry the Sultan’s daughter, some magic nonsense turns him into a beggar—and a fake Prince kicks him out of the palace. Turns out Jaffar’s not as dead as we thought, and now the poor guy’s gotta fight his way back through even more ridiculous traps and sword fights.
It’s classic Prince of Persia—leaps of faith, dodging spikes, and timing your sword swings just right—but now enemies gang up on you, and sometimes more show up mid-fight. The pressure’s on with that same strict time limit, so no dawdling. You’ll die a lot, but pulling off a perfect jump or slicing through three guys at once feels amazing. The SNES version’s got that moody, shadowy look that makes every fall into a pit feel extra dramatic.
If you liked the first one, this is more of that, just cranked up a notch. Just don’t throw your controller when you miss a jump for the tenth time.
