Game Overview

Puffy's Saga is one of those weirdly charming Amiga games that feels like someone took Gauntlet and gave it a sugar rush. You play as either Puffy (slow but strong) or Puffyn (quick but fragile), trying to escape an alien maze full of things that want to nibble on your health bar. The whole thing looks like a cartoon, but don’t let that fool you—some of those enemies swarm you fast.

You’ll spend most of your time gobbling up dots (because of course you do) while dodging or shooting enemies. The gun’s handy—not just for defense, but because it turns some foes into edible snacks. Nothing like blasting a monster and then eating its remains for extra health. Keys unlock doors, and there are these weird "Magic Goms" that do random helpful things, like showing you the map or letting you shoot fire. It’s chaotic in the best way.

Meat restores health, and you can actually overfill your energy bar if you find enough. Which you’ll want to, because some later levels get mean. The whole thing’s got that old-school "figure it out as you go" vibe—no tutorials, just trial, error, and occasional panic when three enemies corner you at once. If you like maze games with a little bite, this one’s worth digging up.
