Racing Fever came out for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Midas Interactive Entertainment. It was one of those straightforward arcade racers that fit right in with the handheld's library, offering quick bursts of speed without much fuss.
You control a selection of sporty cars, weaving through traffic and trying to outpace opponents across several city and highway courses. The main goal is simply to finish first, but the challenge comes from managing your speed around sharp corners and avoiding collisions with other vehicles. Signature mechanics include a turbo boost you earn by driving dangerously close to traffic, and a drift system that lets you slide around bends if you time your turns right. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can spike on later tracks where traffic gets denser. It feels like a tense, slightly chaotic scramble where one mistake can cost you the race.
