The early races feel chaotic—you're swerving to grab cash icons while dodging oil slicks, barely keeping up. Then you start noticing the shortcuts, little off-road jumps that shave seconds off your time if you're brave enough to take them. The car upgrades make a real difference too. Saving up for that turbo actually lets you feel the speed bump.
What surprised me was how much the weapons change the rhythm. Sometimes it's smarter to hang back, let rivals wreck each other, then clean up in the final lap. Other times you just go full aggression, missiles blazing. Racing Gears Advance (EU) gives you room to play it either way.
