Play Renegade on nes Online
The NES beat 'em up that started it all – Brooklyn street brawls with flying kicks and ridiculous knockouts. Save your girl through subway brawls and dockside fights.

Remember Renegade on NES? This was Technos' first stab at the beat 'em up genre that later gave us the whole Kunio-kun series. The Japanese version had that classic delinquent school vibe, but the Western release? They slapped a Brooklyn skin on it – suddenly you're punching mobsters in subway stations instead of schoolyard bullies. Weird choice, but it kinda works.
You're basically just trying to save your girlfriend from some thugs (classic 80s plot), bouncing between subway cars, sketchy docks, and alleys where everyone wants to fight. The moves feel clunky now, but back then nailing a flying kick or tossing someone onto the tracks felt amazing. It's all super over-the-top – guys go flying with these ridiculous animations that make it feel more like a cartoon brawl than serious violence.
Fun fact: This spawned some weird unofficial sequels like Target: Renegade that nobody really asked for. The original's still the best, even if the controls haven't aged perfectly.
