RoboCop 3 on the Genesis is exactly what you'd expect—a clunky but kinda fun side-scroller where you stomp through Detroit blasting criminals. The sprites are blocky, the controls take some getting used to, and yeah, it's definitely not as polished as the first movie. But there's something satisfying about plowing through waves of thugs with that iconic auto-aim pistol. Just don't go in expecting depth—it's pure 90s movie tie-in cheese.
Weirdly, the game actually changes up the movie's ending. Instead of that weird jetpack finale, you're just fighting more goons in a factory. Typical Ocean Software move—they loved taking liberties with licensed games. If you're a RoboCop fan, it's worth a play for the nostalgia. Otherwise, maybe stick with the arcade original.
