Game Overview
Okay, so RoboCop 3_Disk3 on the Amiga is one of those weirdly ambitious movie tie-ins that actually tries something different. Instead of just rehashing scenes from the film, it throws you into these totally mismatched gameplay styles—like someone couldn’t decide what kind of game they wanted to make, so they just did all of them.
You start off in this Chase HQ-style car chase, weaving through messy roads, then suddenly you’re in first-person blasting punks (but oops, don’t hit civilians). Later, RoboCop gets a jetpack—because sure, why not—and there’s even a side-scrolling brawler bit where you fight ninja robots. The whole thing’s held together by this bizarre plot about Japanese investors trying to replace him, which honestly feels like an excuse to cram in as many random mechanics as possible.
It’s janky, unpredictable, and somehow more fun than it has any right to be. If you’re into Amiga-era oddities, this one’s a trip.
