Game Overview
RoboCop 3 on MS-DOS is one of those old-school side-scrollers that feels like it came straight out of a VHS rental store. You play as the iconic cyborg cop, blasting through levels that sort of follow the movie—though let’s be honest, you’re mostly here for the shootouts, not the plot.
The coolest (and most frustrating) thing? RoboCop’s body parts take damage individually. If your arm gets wrecked, your shots go wild. Mess up your legs, and suddenly you’re limping like you just got off a 12-hour shift. Between levels, you patch yourself up at repair stations, which is a neat touch—until you realize how often you’ll need them.
Fair warning: This game isn’t easy. The SNES version got roasted for being brutal, and the MS-DOS one isn’t much kinder. But if you’re into janky, punishing retro action with a weirdly detailed damage system, it’s got a weird charm. Just don’t expect to finish it without a few rage quits.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
