RoboMaze 2: The Lobby came out in 1991 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by MVP Software. It was a time when maze games were common, but this one had a certain mechanical charm that set it apart from the simpler arcade-style titles of the era.
You control a small robot navigating a series of interconnected maze screens, each filled with obstacles, traps, and teleporters. The goal is to find and collect all the keys in a level to unlock the exit. You move screen by screen, carefully timing your movements to avoid crushing walls and other hazards; one wrong step can send you back to the start. The pacing is deliberate, almost puzzle-like, and the difficulty can feel unforgiving as you memorize trap patterns and teleporter routes. It feels like a tense, methodical dance through a hostile machine.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
