Play Rock n Roll Online
You're a bouncy ball navigating maze-like levels, sliding on ice and getting blown around by fans while hunting eyeballs to reveal the map. That cheesy rock soundtrack somehow makes dying to the same trap five times in a row feel okay.
Rock n Roll came out in 1989 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Rainbow Arts. It was one of those early puzzle platformers that felt right at home on a beige box PC, relying on simple graphics and clever level design rather than flashy effects.
You control a rubbery ball that rolls and bounces through a series of single-screen rooms, each filled with obstacles like slippery ice patches, teleporters, and fans that push you around. The goal is to collect all the eyeballs in a stage to reveal the exit, then reach it before time runs out. The physics are floaty and unpredictable, making precise movement a constant challenge; one wrong bounce can send you into a spike trap or off the edge. Itโs a game that demands patience and repetition, but nailing a tricky jump or outmaneuvering a moving platform gives a genuine sense of accomplishment. Playing it feels like solving a physical puzzle where every mistake teaches you something new.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
