Rockford is a 1987 MS-DOS game from the Classic Games series, developed by Peter Liepa. It came out during a time when puzzle games were often simple, grid based affairs, and it fit right in with that style of thoughtful, methodical play. You don't get a lot of fanfare; it's just you and the grid.

You control a little man named Rockford, moving him through a series of underground caves. Your goal is to collect a certain number of gems on each screen before the timer runs out or you find the exit.
