Blind jumps and tight spaces keep you on your toes, but those robot master weapons make it worth the struggle—plus that Wily Castle theme goes way harder than it should on a Game Boy.

Game Overview

Rockman World 4 (or Mega Man IV if you're outside Japan) is one of those weird little Game Boy exclusives that feels like its own thing—not just a scaled-down version of the NES games. You still get the usual robot masters (this time with names like "Bright Man" and "Toad Man"), but the level layouts and weapons have their own quirks. The screen crunch is real, though—expect a lot of blind jumps if you're not careful.

Fun fact: The soundtrack actually slaps harder than it has any right to for a Game Boy title. That chiptune version of the Wily Castle theme? Chef's kiss.
