Play Todds Adventrures in Slime World Online

Creep through pulsating slime tunnels where walls suddenly bulge to block you, shooting globs to clear paths while everything shifts like it’s alive. Moves like wading through jelly, in the best gross way.

Game Overview

Todd's Adventures in Slime World came out for the Sega Genesis in 1992, published by Epyx. It was part of that wave of early 90s games that tried to do something a little different, a side-scrolling exploration game set entirely inside a massive, living organism. You don't see many games where the entire world is basically one giant, breathing cave of slime.

You control Todd, navigating a sprawling, interconnected maze of organic tunnels. The main goal is simply to survive and map out the enormous labyrinth, which is filled with hostile slime creatures and environmental hazards. Signature mechanics include using a limited supply of "slime blobs" to melt through certain walls and obstacles, and the constant, eerie way the tunnels themselves pulse and reshape around you. The pacing is slow and deliberate, more about cautious exploration than fast action. It feels like being an intruder in a place that is actively, viscerally trying to reject you.
