Game Overview

Roll-Out is one of those simple-but-maddening Amiga puzzlers where you play as this weird little green blob pushing blocks around. The goal’s straightforward—shove smiley-faced blocks onto hatches to clear them—but the execution? Not so much. Blocks slide until they hit something, so you’ve gotta plan your shoves carefully, especially with those annoying enemies patrolling the screen.

At first, it feels easy… until you realize the clock’s ticking, enemies respawn, and one wrong push can trap you. The top-down view makes it look cute, but don’t be fooled—some levels will have you groaning as your last block gets stuck in the worst possible spot. It’s got that classic ‘just one more try’ pull, even when you’re half-convinced the game’s cheating.

If you like Pengo but want something with a bit more puzzle grit, this little monster’s worth a look.
