Play Mind-Roll Online
Roll a marble through surreal mazes where gravity flips and paths twist back on themselves—just when you think you’ve got it, the game laughs and throws some '90s DOS weirdness at you.

Mind-Roll came out in 1990 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series from The Software Toolworks. It was one of those early puzzle games that felt experimental, a product of its time when developers were still figuring out what a computer game could be. You don't get much backstory or fanfare; it just drops you into its strange world and expects you to keep up.
You control a marble navigating abstract, multi-level mazes where the main objective is simply to reach the exit. The signature mechanics involve manipulating gravity to roll along walls and ceilings, and solving spatial puzzles where the correct path isn't always visible from your starting perspective. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as new obstacles and maze geometries are introduced. It feels like a constant, satisfying battle against the game's own logic.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
