Rushing Beat is one of those SNES brawlers that somehow flew under the radar—probably because it got rebranded as Rival Turf! overseas. But man, this original Japanese version is pure 90s arcade chaos. You pick between three street fighters (I always go for the guy with the red headband) and just start wrecking thugs in back alleys and parking lots. The punches have this satisfying thwack to them, and you can chain together combos if you time your hits right.

What I love is how fast it moves—no fancy cutscenes, just a quick intro and boom, you're already kneeing some punk in the gut. The two-player co-op is where it really shines, though. My brother and I used to waste afternoons teaming up, tossing enemies into each other like ragdolls. The pixel art's got that grimy city vibe, and the music?
