Play Rushing Beat Online
Take control of vigilantes Rick, Ray, or Roy and brawl through thugs in a crime-ridden city, using punches, kicks, and weapons to defeat bosses and survive the chaos.
Rushing Beat came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, developed and published by Jaleco. It was part of that early wave of SNES games trying to bring the arcade brawler experience home, a time when developers were still figuring out how to translate that particular kind of chaos to a console.
You control one of three vigilantes, Rick, Ray, or Roy, and your job is to fight through waves of thugs across a city taken over by a criminal syndicate. The main objective is to simply get to the end of each stage and defeat the boss waiting there. You have a standard set of punches and kicks, but the signature mechanics are the ability to pick up weapons like pipes or knives dropped by enemies and the desperation attack, which sacrifices a chunk of your health to unleash a powerful move that clears the immediate area. The pacing is relentless, with enemies pouring in from both sides of the screen, and the difficulty is unforgiving, especially when playing alone. It feels like a constant, frantic scramble for survival where every hit counts.
