Game Overview

SD Gundam Generation - Axis Senki is one of those deep-cut SNES strategy games that’ll make Gundam fans geek out. You’re basically commanding tiny, super-deformed mobile suits through the First Neo-Zeon War—lots of chunky sprites and tactical grid movement. The Sufami Turbo thing is weird but kinda cool if you’ve got the other SD Gundam games (good luck finding those now).

First few turns feel slow—you’re shuffling units around, figuring out who counters who—but once the beam sabers start swinging, it clicks. Some suits feel way overpowered (looking at you, ZZ Gundam), but that’s half the fun. Just don’t expect an English patch anytime soon.
