Game Overview

Sensible World of Moon Soccer came out for the Amiga in 1994, developed by Sensible Software and published by Renegade. It was a time when the Amiga was still a strong platform for creative, often quirky, sports games that didn't take themselves too seriously. This one definitely fit right in.

You control a team of low-resolution players in a low-gravity environment, trying to score goals against an opposing team. The main objective is simple: win the match. The signature mechanics are the exaggerated jumps that send your players soaring, the mid-air collisions as everyone fights for the ball, and the various power-ups that appear on the pitch to temporarily boost your team's abilities. The pacing is frantic, with the ball constantly pinballing between players and the low gravity making every movement and shot feel unpredictable. It feels chaotic and silly in the best way possible, especially with friends.
