Play Shakii the Wolf Online

You play as a scruffy wolf bouncing through chaotic pixel levels—dodging pits and weird enemies while the game laughs at your terrible timing. It’s that kind of janky DOS charm where you keep retrying just to see what nonsense comes next.

Game Overview

Shakii the Wolf came out in 1995 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Family Production. It was a time when platformers were everywhere, and this one fit right in with its simple premise and straightforward, if sometimes unforgiving, level design. You don't hear much about it now, but it had a certain rough charm that felt typical for shareware titles of the era.

You control Shakii, a wolf who runs and jumps through a series of side-scrolling stages. The main goal is to reach the end of each level while avoiding enemies and bottomless pits. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen progression, where each new section loads after you cross an invisible boundary, and simple combat where you can headbutt foes, though timing is tricky. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty spikes unexpectedly, especially with some awkward enemy placements. It feels like a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, even when it's testing your patience.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
