Play Shiftrix Online
Slide scrambled tiles against the clock—what starts as a chill puzzle suddenly has you white-knuckling the keyboard over a cat picture that refuses to come together.

Game Overview
Ever dug through old DOS games and stumbled on something weirdly satisfying? Shiftrix is one of those—a no-nonsense tile slider that somehow hooks you harder than flashier puzzle games. You’re basically rearranging scrambled chunks of an image against a ticking clock, and at first it feels manageable… until you realize you’ve been hunched over your keyboard for 45 minutes, sweating over a half-finished picture of a cat.
What I love is how it takes something simple (move tiles, complete pattern) and makes it frantic. The timer’s just fast enough to keep your fingers clumsy, and the layouts get sneakier later on. No power-ups, no tutorials—just you and the growing suspicion that this cat picture might actually be impossible. If you’ve got a soft spot for DOS-era minimalism or just want a puzzle game that doesn’t mess around, this one’s a time capsule worth opening.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
