You choose from a roster of characters like Shrek, Donkey, or Fiona and race through tracks inspired by locations from the films. The main goal is straightforward: finish first. To help with that, you can pick up items like exploding pumpkins to lob at opponents or hop on a dragon for a quick speed boost. The tracks are filled with shortcuts and hazards, and the AI can be surprisingly aggressive, which keeps you on your toes. It feels exactly like driving through a rowdy, unpredictable party in the swamp.
