Shrek Smash n' Crash Racing is exactly what it sounds like—a chaotic kart racer where you get to throw down as Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and the rest of the gang. The tracks are packed with shortcuts and hazards straight out of the movies, like that gross swamp water or the dragon’s bridge. I thought it’d be a basic racer, but the drifting actually feels pretty tight once you get the hang of it.
Donkey’s cart handles like a shopping trolley with a loose wheel, which… honestly fits his character. Meanwhile, Shrek’s just plows through everything like the unstoppable ogre he is. The power-ups are silly in the best way—nothing like pelting Puss in Boots with exploding pumpkins mid-race. It’s not the deepest racer out there, but it’s way more fun than it had any right to be.
