Game Overview

Ever stumble across Slaughter Sport back in the Genesis days? This thing feels like someone took Street Fighter, dumped it into a blender with Mortal Kombat, and then cranked the weirdness dial to 11. You start off throwing normal-ish punches, then—bam—your fighter suddenly morphs into some monstrous creature mid-round. One match you're a dude in tights, the next you're a hulking beast with tentacles. No warning, just pure chaos.

It’s actually a port of this obscure arcade fighter called Vicious Circles, and yeah, it’s clunky as hell. Moves don’t always land right, the hitboxes are janky, but somehow that just adds to the madness. Half the fun is seeing what absurd form your fighter takes next—I still laugh when my guy turns into a floating eyeball mid-uppercut. Not exactly polished, but if you’re into retro fighters with personality (and a serious WTF factor), this one’s a trip. Just try not to panic when your health bar’s low and your arms turn into scythes.
