Game Overview

Time Slaughter came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Bloodlust Software. It was a product of its time, a period when first-person shooters were rapidly evolving, and this one tried to carve its own niche with a mix of fantasy and sci-fi elements. You don't see many games that throw time travel and demons together in quite this way.

You control a warrior who must fight through waves of enemies that spill out from temporal rifts. The main objective is to survive each arena, clearing all foes to progress. Signature mechanics include screen-by-screen combat in fully 3D environments, using a mix of melee weapons and projectile spells against diverse enemy types. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty can be punishing, demanding quick reflexes and strategic movement. It feels like being dropped into a chaotic, otherworldly gladiator pit where every second counts.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
