Game Overview

Rally Sport came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a time when racing sims were starting to find their footing on home computers. It was a straightforward release, not backed by a major publisher, but it offered a focused take on off-road racing that felt distinct from the arcade racers of the era.

You choose from a handful of compact cars and compete in point-to-point rally stages across varied terrain like gravel, mud, and ice. The main goal is simple: finish each stage with the best time possible. The physics are unforgiving; your car slides unpredictably on loose surfaces, and hitting obstacles or spectators results in costly delays. The split-screen multiplayer mode turns every corner into a tense battle for position. It feels raw and demanding, where concentration matters more than speed.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
