Solvalou is one of those old-school arcade shooters that somehow feels both frantic and methodical at the same time. You're piloting this weird, futuristic ship that moves in this odd circular pattern—took me a few tries to get the hang of it, but once you do, weaving between enemy fire becomes weirdly satisfying.
The enemies come at you in these hypnotic spiral formations, and your shots curve along with your ship's movement. It's not just about reflexes—you've gotta time your attacks right or you'll waste shots chasing targets. The whole thing has this strange, almost hypnotic rhythm to it once you get into the zone.
Definitely one of the more unique shooters from that era. If you're into retro games that do something a little different with the formula, this one's worth a few credits.
