Game Overview
Sonic Bros (SMB1 Hack) [a2] is exactly what it sounds like—Sonic awkwardly crammed into Mario's NES world. The first thing you notice is how weird it feels to see Sonic's sprite running through those blocky, familiar levels. He moves faster than Mario ever did, which makes some jumps feel off.
The physics are a little janky—sometimes you'll hit a spring and go flying way farther than expected, or bounce off an enemy in a strange way. It's not polished, but there's something charming about the mismatch. The levels are still Mario's, just with Sonic's speed shoehorned in.
