Game Overview

Space Knight is one of those Amiga games that feels like it was made by someone who stayed up way too late watching '80s sci-fi. You're this armored warrior blasting through neon-lit corridors, dodging these weird floating orbs that look like they escaped from a screensaver. The controls take a second to click—your guy slides a bit when you stop moving, like he's wearing socks on a spaceship floor—but once you get the rhythm down, it's weirdly satisfying.

What stuck with me was the soundtrack: all these wobbly synth basslines that make even the boring power-up collection feel dramatic. The third level has this trippy gravity flip that still messes with me, and I've played it like twenty times. Not gonna lie, some of the enemy patterns feel downright unfair until you memorize them, but beating a tough section makes you feel like you outsmarted the game itself.

It's the kind of game you play at 2 AM when the rest of the house is asleep and the CRT glow is the only light in the room.
