Space Knight came out in 1989 for the Amiga, developed by Rainbow Arts. It was one of those side-scrolling action games that felt right at home on the platform, with colorful graphics and a sci-fi theme that stood out among other releases at the time. You play as a knight in futuristic armor, tasked with fighting through alien-infested environments.

You control the knight, moving screen by screen through levels filled with hostile creatures. Your main goal is to defeat enemies, gather power-ups to upgrade your weapons, and take down bosses at the end of each stage. The combat relies on timing your attacks with a sword or projectiles, and you often have to navigate platforms while avoiding enemy fire. The pacing is fairly brisk, though some sections can be challenging due to the number of enemies on screen. It feels straightforward but engaging, with a sense of progression as you improve your gear and push further into the alien strongholds.
