Game Overview

Spider-Man 2 on GBA is basically what you'd expect from a handheld version of the movie—side-scrolling, web-swinging action with some extra villains thrown in. It feels like an expanded remix of the 2002 game, so if you played that one, the controls will be familiar. Swinging between buildings still has that slightly awkward but satisfying rhythm, and yeah, the weird camera gimmick is back (hit Select to snap pics of landmarks, for some reason).

They crammed in Black Cat and Rhino alongside Doc Ock, which gives it a bit more variety than just rehashing the film. The levels are short but punchy—perfect for quick sessions. Don’t expect anything groundbreaking, but it’s a solid way to kill time if you’re craving some old-school Spidey action.
