Spider-Man 3 (I) on GBA is a side-scrolling beat 'em up that tries to capture the movie's chaos. You swing through blocky New York streets, punching thugs and dodging projectiles. The symbiote suit feels heavier, like your punches land harder but the controls get a little sluggish.

I remember getting stuck on a rooftop chase sequence where the camera wouldn't keep up, making jumps feel blind. The boss fights are the highlight though—Sandman shifts between forms in a way that actually works on the tiny screen. Venom's later levels get frustratingly cheap with enemy spam.

It's rough around the edges, but there's something satisfying about webbing up goons in a portable version of that black suit arc.
