Spike In Transylvania is one of those Amiga games that feels like it was made by someone who really loved old-school platformers but also had a weird sense of humor. You play as this little green dude—Spike, obviously—who’s just trying to survive in a Dracula-themed nightmare. The levels are packed with bats, ghosts, and those classic floating platforms that disappear if you stand on them too long.

What I love about it is how janky yet charming it is. The controls take a second to get used to (Spike slides around like he’s on ice sometimes), but once you get the hang of it, bouncing between platforms and dodging enemies feels oddly satisfying. And the music? Pure Amiga chiptune goodness—haunting but kinda catchy.

It’s not the deepest game out there, but if you’re into retro platformers with personality, this one’s a hidden gem. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one spike trap for the tenth time.
