You control a team of six players in the indoor mode, or two in the beach mode, cycling through them to receive serves, set the ball, and spike it over the net. The main objective is to win matches by outscoring the computer or a second player. Key mechanics include a power meter for serving and spiking, and a simple button press for digs and sets. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, especially when trying to coordinate blocks at the net. It feels like a straightforward, sometimes clumsy attempt at volleyball that is best enjoyed with a friend for the shared mistakes.
