If you grew up watching SpongeBob, this DS game feels like playing through a lost episode. You start off in Bikini Bottom, but something's clearly wrong—Plankton's up to no good again, and suddenly you're switching between SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy to solve puzzles based on their weirdly specific skills (like Patrick's ability to... be Patrick).

The platforming's simple but satisfying, especially when you figure out how to chain moves between characters. Some sections drag a bit—looking at you, jellyfish maze—but the writing nails that same dumb-funny energy from the show. I kept playing just to hear Squidward groan about everything.

It's not gonna blow your mind, but for a licensed DS game, it gets way more right than it should. Just don't expect the underwater physics to make any sense.
