You control a team of three characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, and Jimmy Neutron, switching between them on the fly. The main goal is to stop an invasion of sticky, colorful glob monsters by punching, blasting, and phasing through them across various levels. Each character has a unique ability; Danny can turn intangible to bypass obstacles, Jimmy uses his inventions for ranged attacks, and SpongeBob relies on close-up bubble blows and his trustful karate chops. You explore areas screen by screen, defeat waves of enemies, and occasionally solve simple environmental puzzles that require a specific hero's skill. The pacing is fairly brisk, and the difficulty stays on the easier side, making it a straightforward, chaotic romp. It feels like a silly, low-stakes playground where you get to mess around with some familiar cartoon personalities.
