Play Sports Island DS (E) Online

Pass the DS around for quick rounds of touchscreen archery or janky bowling—it’s got that perfect "one more try" energy when friends are over. Not every minigame lands, but the chaotic multiplayer ones stick.

Game Overview

Sports Island DS is one of those games you pop in when you've got friends over and just want to mess around. It's got a bunch of quick sports minigames—stuff like soccer, archery, even snowboarding—and they all use the DS touchscreen in different ways. Some work better than others (the bowling feels weirdly stiff), but the good ones are surprisingly fun for how simple they are.

The graphics are bright and cartoony, and most events only take a minute or two, so it never gets too serious. Local multiplayer is where it shines—you can pass a single DS around for turns, or link up if you've got extra consoles. Just don't expect deep mechanics; this is pure pick-up-and-play stuff. I still pull it out sometimes when I want something light between bigger games.
