Game Overview

Star Goose! is one of those weird little Amiga gems that makes you go, "Wait, why is a goose in space?" At first glance, it seems like a simple arcade shooter—except you're piloting a goose-shaped ship through asteroid fields and dodging alien fire. The controls are surprisingly tight, and the pixel art has that classic Amiga charm, all bright colors and chunky sprites.

You start off just trying to survive, but then you realize the goose can peck enemies if you get close enough, which is both ridiculous and weirdly satisfying. The soundtrack’s got that old-school synth vibe, too—kinda cheesy, but it fits perfectly. It’s not the deepest game out there, but it’s got personality, and that counts for a lot. If you dig quirky retro shooters, this one’s worth a few rounds.
