The main goal is to find and activate the Stargate on each stage while fighting Jaffa warriors and avoiding traps. Key mechanics include switching between a standard rifle and a more powerful staff weapon, plus careful platforming over pits and spikes. The pacing is relentless, with constant enemy attacks and a timer counting down in the final level. It feels like a tense, sometimes unforgiving race against overwhelming odds.
