Game Overview

Strategy X is one of those arcade games that looks simple until you realize how brutal it is. You control a little tank speeding through enemy territory, dodging gunfire and obstacles while racing against your fuel gauge. The first time I played, I thought I could take my time—big mistake. Those fuel depots disappear fast if enemy shots hit them, and suddenly you're crawling to a halt.

You get three tanks, and losing one feels inevitable at first—crash into a wall, get shot, or just run out of gas. The two-player mode is chaotic fun, swapping turns every time one of you blows up. The longer you play, the more you start memorizing where the safe routes are (hint: the far left is usually a death trap).

It's punishing but weirdly addictive once you get the rhythm down.
