Man, Street Fighter 2 SF2LUI CLONE takes me back—like finding a dusty arcade machine in the back of some forgotten pizza place. It’s a rough-around-the-edges love letter to the original, with all the fireballs, spinning bird kicks, and questionable hitboxes you remember. Ryu’s Hadouken sometimes feels like it travels at the speed of molasses, and the sound effects crackle like they’re coming through an old radio, but that’s part of the charm.

The pixel art’s got that warm, CRT glow if you squint hard enough, and the music? Pure 90s arcade nostalgia, even if the bass sounds like it’s fighting through static. You’ll lose hours trying to land that one perfect combo, only to have the game go "nah" and send your Shoryuken straight into a pit. It’s janky, it’s loud, and honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Just don’t be surprised when you start reflexively muttering "perfect" after every KO.
